Sabalgarh Fort

This is a fort of immense historical importance is situated in small town of sabalgarh, located some 70Kms away from Morena city. Absorbed in its monumental structure are some fascinating historical accounts of this region. Constructed by a local Gujjar king called Gopal Singh during medieval century, this fort's control was snatched away by scindias during 18th century. Later on this fort became Scindia dynasty fortress. Many scindia princess and princesses used to stay here for recreation or to spend some solitary time. Although today, much of the fort is in ruins, but people who love viewing historical monuments they will surely feel linger aura of its yesterday year glory.
