Pisanhari Ki Madiya is a popular Digambar Jain pilgrimage center. The temple complex has a large number of small Jain temples situated within.
Believed to be built by a poor woman around 500 years ago, Pisanhari Ki Madiya is a symbol of service and dedication. After listening to a Jain monks' preaches, this lady decided to build a Jain temple on a hill top. As the woman was very poor she had to construct the temple with the money she had earned by grinding flour with her stone mill. She did not have the money to install gold pots on the temple tower and decided to place the rice mill on the top. These stones are still found in the premises and the temple gets the name from it.
Easily accessible, the temple has been renovated with marble and numerous shrines of various Thirthankar saints are found here. Being on top of a hill, the views from the temple are spectacular. The peaceful surroundings are regarded as an ideal place for meditation and the whole family can enjoy a quiet day at the temple.
Travellers can also visit Shali Parn Udyan, Supa Tal Lake and Bagha Talaab, which are close to this attraction.
