Begum Mahal

Located nearly 3kms away from the Mandla Fort/Moti Mahal is another fort called the Begum Mahal. Constructed in the honour of Rani Chimney, this Mahal or palace has a beautiful three storeyed rectangular masterpiece reminiscent of the Mughal style of architecture. The Begum Mahal was built from black stones which were brought from a spot known as Kala Pahad situated 4Kms away.
