Located some 25 Kms away from Morena city is the historical temple complex, where clusters of some 200 small temples and shrines reside. Nowhere in Morena district will you find so many temples and shrines at one place is here. Besides, all these temples and shrines are surrounded by lush green mountains and hence the view that you will get here is very picturesque and pleasing. This huge temple complex is believed to have been constructed between 8th and 10th century CE when the famous Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty was ruling this region. If you take into account the duration and period when this temple complex was constructed, then it is but certainly even older than famous Khajuraho Temple. In the end, all we can say is that this temple complex has so much history and beauty to offer that no one can afford to give it a miss.
